The Department of Bengali at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College and Affiliated to the University of Kalyani was founded in 1973 and provides NEP 2020 programs in Bengali;Major and Minor.The Bengali Department is a thriving center for language and literature studies. The department promotes an engaging and dynamic learning atmosphere in which students are encouraged to ask questions, resulting in a classroom full of ideas. The department has a team of specialist faculty members that contribute a lot of knowledge and skill to their classes. Every teacher actively participates in academic forums, attending conferences, publishing in academic journals, and remaining on the cutting edge of Bengali literary studies.
